What I Believe

My Mission My mission is to equip people to encounter Jesus personally, hear God's voice, grow in intimacy with Him, discover their Christ identity, and fulfill their Kingdom purpose through the transforming power of the Holy Spirit. Scripture: John 5:19, John 5:30, John 6:38, John 8:26

The Holy Scriptures I believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God, written under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. It is the final authority for faith, doctrine, and Christian living and reveals God's character, purposes, and redemptive plan for humanity. Scripture: 2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21; Psalm 119:105; Hebrews 4:12

The One True GodI believe there is one eternal God who exists in three Persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal, co-eternal, and united in essence, power, glory, and purpose.Scripture: Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14; John 1:1-3

Jesus ChristI believe Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, fully God and fully man. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, performed miracles, revealed the Father, died on the cross for our sins, rose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, and will return in power and glory.Through His death and resurrection, He secured forgiveness, reconciliation with God, healing, freedom, and eternal life for all who believe.Scripture: John 1:1-14; Isaiah 53:4-6; Matthew 1:23; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4; Hebrews 4:15; Acts 1:9-11

The Holy SpiritI believe the Holy Spirit is God and actively ministers in the world today. He convicts of sin, regenerates believers, indwells them, sanctifies them, empowers them for ministry, distributes spiritual gifts, and guides them into truth.I believe every believer is called to cultivate an intimate relationship with the Holy Spirit and to walk in continual dependence upon Him.Scripture: John 14:16-17, 26; John 16:13; Acts 1:8; Romans 8:14-16; 1 Corinthians 12:4-11; Galatians 5:22-25

Humanity and SinI believe humanity was created in the image of God to enjoy fellowship with Him. Through Adam's disobedience, sin entered the world, separating humanity from God. As a result, all people are in need of salvation and reconciliation through Jesus Christ.Scripture: Genesis 1:26-27; Romans 3:23; Romans 5:12; Isaiah 59:2

SalvationI believe salvation is a gift of God's grace received through faith in Jesus Christ alone. No human effort, works, or religious activity can earn salvation. Through repentance and faith, believers are forgiven, justified, adopted as God's children, and given eternal life.Scripture: John 3:16; Ephesians 2:8-9; Romans 10:9-10; Titus 3:5-7; Galatians 2:16

Identity in ChristI believe that all who place their faith in Jesus Christ become new creations and beloved children of God. Believers are clothed in Christ's righteousness, empowered by His Spirit, and called to represent Him in the earth.Scripture: 2 Corinthians 5:17; Galatians 4:6-7; Romans 8:14-17; Colossians 3:3-4

Intimacy with God and Hearing His VoiceI believe God desires a personal, intimate relationship with every believer. Through the indwelling Holy Spirit, believers can know God personally, discern His leading, and grow in communion with Him through prayer, Scripture, worship, and spiritual sensitivity. All impressions, revelations, and spiritual experiences must be tested and aligned with the authority of Scripture.Scripture: John 10:27; Jeremiah 33:3; Hebrews 4:16; James 4:8; 1 John 4:1

Healing, Freedom, and the Ministry of JesusI believe Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever and continues to minister healing, freedom, restoration, and deliverance according to His will and purposes. We are called to pray in faith, trust God's promises, and minister His compassion to a hurting world.Scripture: Isaiah 53:4-5; Matthew 8:16-17; James 5:14-16; Mark 16:17-18; Hebrews 13:8

The ChurchI believe the Church is the Body of Christ, composed of all true believers. The Church exists to worship God, make disciples, equip the saints, demonstrate God's love, proclaim the Gospel, and advance the Kingdom of God throughout the earth.Scripture: Matthew 28:18-20; Ephesians 4:11-16; Acts 2:42-47; 1 Corinthians 12:12-27

Discipleship and Kingdom LivingI believe every believer is called to become a disciple of Jesus Christ and to participate in His mission. Through surrender to the Holy Spirit, believers are transformed into Christ's likeness and equipped to fulfill their God-given purpose and calling.Scripture: Luke 9:23; Romans 8:29; Ephesians 2:10; Colossians 1:28

The Guiding Principle of MinistryI embrace the example of Jesus, who lived in continual dependence upon His Father. Our desire is to see what the Father is doing and join Him in His work through the power of the Holy Spirit.Life Verse: John 5:19"The Son can do nothing by Himself; He can do only what He sees His Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does."I believe this verse models the lifestyle of every disciple—a life of intimate partnership with God, listening, obedience, and Spirit-led ministry.

The Return of Christ and Eternal DestinyI believe Jesus Christ will return personally, visibly, and triumphantly. There will be a resurrection of the dead, final judgment, and the fulfillment of God's Kingdom. Those who have trusted in Christ will enjoy eternal life in His presence, while those who reject Him will remain separated from Him.Scripture: John 14:1-3; Acts 1:11; 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18; Revelation 21:1-4; Matthew 25:31-46
