Q&A
An angel led me to the Lord in 1979 when through a heartbreak, God showed me His love. My spiritual growth was slow and steady until God really got my attention when He allowed me to contract and then healed me miraculously of Lyme’s disease. These incredible stories are in my Clips that Move Mountains book. My faith skyrocketed when I learned how to hear God’s voice personally and meet with Him Face-to- face. God has taken me on a wild adventure since then, and the Author and Finisher of my faith is still working out the rest of my story one day at a time.
I think the word that sums up best the way God uses me is “How.” God has uniquely gifted me not only to see the vision of where God wants to go but also to see the methods, models and particular steps. I am a facilitator. I take people, groups, and organizations by the hand and show them “how” to connect with God so HE can take them where He wants them to go and show them what He wants them to do.
As a Bible study or workshop leader, I don’t just tell people what they need to understand; I show them how to encounter God so He can show them the Way. I have more than 30 years’ experience as an Organization Development consultant helping faith-based nonprofits plan according to God’s best futures and more than a decade of Bible study teaching.
My calling is to help people find their callings. Essentially, my mission is all about helping people live out their very best Jeremiah 29:11-14 life. “11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 12 Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. 14 I will be found by you,” declares the Lord…”
God has one best life for everyone, and I love to help people discover the road to that life. Also, notice that this verse also includes helping people find their guidance from God personally. All I need to do is teach people how to find Jesus, and He can take the wheel from there. I can absolutely do that!
God has given me the ability to write, practical, down to earth, “how-to” live the Christian life books. Uniquely, my books all include media. Clips that Move Mountains and Journey to the Abundant Christian Life included 23 film clips that acted as Biblical metaphors. The Just Ask Jesus Series features lyric videos and audio guided imageries that welcome the Presence of God and guide people through encountering conversations and transformational experiences with Jesus.
Media is a powerful method and means of reaching this generation. The media messages make God more “real” to people and increase faith and intimacy with Him.
I am a Disciple maker. I love to show people how to draw near to God and receive His multiplying blessings, direction and grow their faith. I can help people make their Bible studies more God encountering and less academic. After all, God lives in the heart and not in the head.
I can help faith-based organizations align themselves with God’s purposes and plans and help them collaborate multi-organizationally for maximum fruit-bearing impact. And I can help a churches or ministries design a Discipleship programs that will catapult participant’s faith and Kingdom impact. I’m available for speaking, workshops, coaching, facilitation, and consultation along all of these lines. There is no limit to what you can do when you learn how to have the LORD guide you.
